TOGETHER WITH THE CHURCH IN ALL AGES,

We believe in one God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made; who, for us humans and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried; and the third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and he shall come again, with glory, to judge the living and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.

And we believe in one Holy Universal and Apostolic Church. We acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins, and we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

Furthermore,

Concerning the Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is the written Word of God; that it is infallible, divinely inspired, perfect and trustworthy; that it reveals to us the living God, salvation of his Son Jesus Christ, and His Spirit; that it is the all sufficient rule for saving faith, knowledge of God, and obedience.

Concerning the One True God
We believe there is one, and only one true God. He is the holy, righteous, and loving creator of all things revealed in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each with distinct attributes, but without division in of nature, essence, or being.

Concerning Man
We believe man to be special in what God has created, being created in God’s own image. God created them as male and female. By his free choice, man sinned against God and brought sin into the world. Because of this transgression, all people are born sinners, separated from God. Only by the grace of God, the atoning work of Jesus Christ, and the conviction of sin by the Holy Spirit may a person enter into fellowship with God again. The sacredness of human personality is evident in that God created man in His own image, and in that Christ died for man; therefore, every person of every race possesses full dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Concerning Salvation
We believe salvation is of the Lord. Salvation is redemption from past, present, and future sins and offered freely to anyone who would accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. In its broadest sense salvation includes, regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.

Concerning the Church
We believe the Church of Jesus Christ is the visible body of all baptized believers. We are bonded in one salvation, covenant faith and fellowship of the gospel, observing two
ordinances, and governed by the Lord Jesus Christ. It the great mission of the Church to glorify God and call all people to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ through the witness of Christian character, compassion, love, and testimony.

Concerning Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water. It is a command by the Lord Jesus Christ that has no power in salvation but rather the first act of obedience on behalf of the believer. It symbolizes the believer’s faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Saviour. Being a Church ordinance, it is prerequisite to the privileges of Church membership and the Lord’s Supper.  We believe the Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Christ and anticipate His second coming.

Concerning the Family & Marriage
We believe God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race.
